    15/06/2011 - I can deliver courses on all levels and all versions of Microsoft Access, from introductory throught to VBA programming.
  • Microsoft SQL Server
    15/06/2011 - I have not given a SQL Server course for a few years but I use the product all the time and have a vast amount of experience teaching it in the past.
  • Microsoft Project
    15/06/2011 - I give Microsft Project courses for ATI-Mirage (versions 2003 - 2010).
  • Microsoft Excel
    15/06/2011 - All verions of the product covered to all levels including Visual Basic programming.

  • 1984 - Helped British Airways training department teach new recruits to program using the PL/1 programming language.
  • 1986-87 - Artemis (Project Management Software) trainer at Metier Management Systems
  • 1987-88 - Panorama (Oracle-based Project Management System) trainer at Cheltonian International. The work included a fair degree of Oracle training.
  • 1988-90 - SQL Server and dBase IV trainer at Ashton Tate. Was the first trainer in the UK to teach SQL Server on the PC (OS/2) platform.
  • 1990 - Started my own business (Customised Training Solutions) and diversified into many different products, including FoxPro, Paradox, Superbase, Visual Basic, Excel, Microsoft Project.
    For two years, gave courses for Sybase (SQL Server on UNIX platform).
  • 1992 - Gave courses on behalf of Microsoft (UK) on Microsoft SQL Server and FoxPro. Became one of the first MSPs (Microsoft Certified Professionals).
  • 1993 - Wrote the first Microsoft Access (version 1.0) course materials for Microsoft UK and delivered all their early courses.
  • 1994 - Started giving (mainly Microsoft SQL Server) courses for Microsoft ATECs (Authorised Training and Education Centres)
  • 1995 - 2002 Continued delivering courses but gradually specialised more onto SQL Server (versions up to and including 2000) and Microsoft Access. Gave over 150 Microsoft Access courses (over 600 delegates) and almost 300 SQL Server courses (2,200 delegates) in 12 years training as "Customised Training Solutions"
  • 2003 - 2012 Freelance trainer in Perth, Australia, for several companies such as Alpha West, Sigma Training, New Horizons and ATI-Mirage.
